Birds/Care

Overview

Birds are broken up into four distinct groups. Due to bonding and territorial behavior, some birds in one group do not get along with those in another group.

Living Room

• Living Room has three separate habitats.
  • Conure Group A (Old Connors): Matcha, Cosmo, Yoshi
  • Conure Group B: Marley
  • Cockatiels: Choco, Lily, Smokie

Office

• Office has two conures. Sunset with special needs and Cappy as her companion.

Food/Water

• All birds are on a mixture of different diets.

• Conure Group A and B gets Roudybush.
• Cockatiels get both Zupreem and Seed (separate bowls)
• The conures have a habit of bathing/splashing in the water as soon as it is changed so give it a once over right before you leave to make sure it's still full.

Medicine/Health

Sunset

• Sunset has a respiratory issues and it is important their habitat has ***clean water changed out with each and every visit***. The cage liner should also be emptied with each visit to prevent the temptation to eat pellet dust from the floor (oddball behavior).
